Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Colombo – Transfer to Nuwara Eliya : 170 kms : 6 hours

• Warm welcome at Bandaranaike International Airport
• Scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya, often called “Little England”
• Enroute photo stop at Ramboda waterfalls (auto charges excluded)
• Check-in to hotel and freshen up
• Visit Gregory Lake and enjoy an evening stroll through the chilly streets of Nuwara Eliya
• Overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya

Day 2 – Nuwara Eliya to Colombo 170 kms -6 hours

• Start your morning with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
• After checking out, begin your scenic journey toward Colombo, passing through the lush tea plantations of the hill country.
• Your first stop is the Ramboda Hanuman Temple, a spiritually significant place believed to be where Lord Hanuman first stepped foot in Sri Lanka.
• Spend time at the temple, taking in the peaceful atmosphere and admiring the majestic 16-foot statue of Hanuman.
• Next, visit a nearby tea factory to see how the world-renowned Ceylon tea is produced and enjoy a fresh cup of tea right from the source.
• Resume your drive to Colombo and reach the city by evening.
• Stay overnight at your hotel in Colombo.

Day 3 – Full-Day Excursion to Galle & Madu River Safari (one way 125 kms, 3 hours)

• Early breakfast at hotel
• Drive south to Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage City filled with colonial Dutch charm
• Stroll through the Galle Fort, visit the lighthouse, and shop local handicrafts
• Continue to Madu River for an optional boat safari exploring mangrove islets (boat ride not included)
• Return to Colombo by night
• Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo

Day 4 – Colombo & Negombo City Tour – Departure (40 kms - 1 hour)

• Breakfast and checkout
• Guided city tour of Colombo covering Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, Old Parliament Building, and shopping time at local markets
• Visit the peaceful fishing town of Negombo and the Dutch Canal area
• Dinner arrangement followed by drop-off at Colombo airport by 9:00 PM for return flight
