Day wise Trip Itinerary

Day 1 – Colombo -Anuradhapura

Total Travel Distance: 230 km (Approx. 4 hours by road)

Early morning, depart from Chennai International Airport (Terminal 2) by Air India flight AI 273 at 5:55 AM.

Arrival in Colombo at 7:20 AM. Pickup from the airport by our local team.

Activities for the day:

• Visit Muneeswaran Shivan Temple
• Continue journey to Manaveri to visit Ramalingam Shivan Temple
• Afternoon arrival at Anuradhapura, check into the hotel and enjoy lunch
• In the evening, visit the sacred Mahabodhi Tree and the nearby Buddha Temple
• Night stay in Anuradhapura

Day 2 – Anuradhapura - Jaffna

Total Travel Distance: 230 km (Approx. 4.5 hours by road)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Thiruketheeswaram Temple.

Activities for the day:

• Visit Thiruketheeswaram Ramalingam Shivan Temple
• Continue the journey to Jaffna, en route visit Thiruvasagam Palace
• Arrive in Jaffna by afternoon, check into hotel and have lunch
• Around 3:30 PM, take a boat to Nainativu Island for darshan at Nagabooshani Amman Temple
• Night stay in Jaffna

Day 3 – Jaffna - Trincomalee

Total Travel Distance: 250 km (Approx. 5 hours by road)

After breakfast, explore temples in Jaffna before heading to Trincomalee.

Activities for the day:

• Morning visit to Nallur Murugan Temple, Naguleswaram Temple, and Maviddapuram Murugan Temple
• Check out from the hotel and have lunch
• Depart for Trincomalee in the afternoon
• Night stay in Trincomalee

Day 4 – Jaffna - Kandy

Begin the day with a temple visit before heading to Kandy.

Day 6 – Nuwara Eliya -Kathirkamam

Total Travel Distance: 150 km (Approx. 4 hours by road)

Check out after breakfast and proceed to Tissamaharama.

• Lunch stop at Kathirkamam
• Check into the hotel in Tissamaharama

Day 7 – Kathirkamam - Wadduwa

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Galle.

Day 8 – Wadduwa - Colombo
