Day-wise Trip Itinerary

Day 01– Bandaranaike International Airport – Kalpitiya (140 kms – 4 hours)

  • On arrival you will be met and welcomed by our representative and transferred to Kalpitiya
  • Kalpitiya is a attractive coastal town in Sri Lanka that is immersed in Dutch colonial history and known for its perfect beaches. During the 17th century, the Dutch occupied the area and left behind a legacy that can still be seen today in the form of historical structures and fortifications. One of the most prominent Dutch structures in Kalpitiya is the Dutch Fort, which was built in 1667 to defend the town from attacking forces. Apart from its rich cultural heritage, Kalpitiya is also famous for its breathtaking beaches. The town is located on a narrow peninsula, with the Indian Ocean on one side and the Puttalam Lagoon on the other, providing a perfect location for water sports such as kite surfing and snorkeling. The beaches are also home to a diverse range of marine life, including dolphins and whales, making Kalpitiya an ideal destination for nature lovers and water enthusiasts alike.

 Day 02 – Kenndy/ Kudiramalai – Trincomalee (188 kms 4 hours travel)

After Breakfast at the hotel transfer to Trincomalee and visit the following places

Wilpattu National park – it is the largest national park in Sri Lanka and home to wide variety of flora and fauna. The park’s landscape is characterized by dense forests, expansive grasslands, and serene lakes, which provide habitat to a range of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, sloth bears and water buffalo.

  • Koneswaram Temple : It is also known as the temple of the Thousand Pillars, Hindu temple located ain Triconmalee and dedicated to the Lord Shiva and considered one of the five major Shiva temples in the region.
  • Fort Frederick – It was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and offering stunning views of the surrounding area and a glimpse into the area’s rich colonial history.
  • Relax at the serene beaches of Uppuveli and Nilaveli : Both beaches located in the Triconmalee district and known for their pristine beaches, clear blue waters and relaxed atmosphere. Uppuveli si a popular destination for water sports such as diving and snorkeling while Nilaveli is famous for its stunning coral reefs and marine life.

Day 03 – Trincomalee – Pasikuda/ Batticaloa (90 kms – 2 hours)

After Breakfast at the hotel proceed to Pasikuda/ Batticaloa and check in to the pre-booked Hotel and visit the following places

  • Visit Batticaloa Lighthouse, Kallady Bridge, and Batticaloa Fort : All the places are popular attractions located in the city of Batticalo in Sri Lanka. The lighthouse offers stunning views of the surrounding area and is a great spot for sunset views. Kallady Bridge is a historic bridge that spans across Batticaloa Lagoon and offers breathtaking views of the water. Batticaloa Fort built by the Portuguese in the 17th century is now a popular tourist site with a museum and park for visitors to explore.

Day 04 –Pasikuda/ Batticaloa – Nuwara Eliya (190 kms 5 hours)

After Breakfast at the hotel proceed to Nuwara Eliya and check into the Hotel. The road trip from Pasikua to Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka passes through the lush tea plantations and factories that are characteristic of the country’s hill country region. The verdant tea estates and rolling hills provide a stunning backdrop for the journey.
