Kashi (Varanasi) is spiritual and blessed by the lord Shiva. The pilgrims believed that taking a sacred dip in the holy waters of river Gangas in Kashi will get ride all sins and attain salvation. Kashi is one of the seven holy pilgrimage sites in Hinduism, which bless the pilgrims with moksha (ie liberation from the cycle of the birth and death). Witnessing the evening Ganga Arati is one of the most significant and memorable things in Kashi and you can enjoy boat riding in the holy river ganga and capturing the sunrise and sunset views is a quite pleasant experience in Kashi.  Prayagraj, Triveni Sangam is the auspicious spot which marks the confluence of three rivers: The Ganga, the Yamuna and the mythical Saraswathi. The three rivers maintain their visible identity and can be identified by their different colors. A dip in the Triveni Sangam is believed to free one of all sins. It is also the place where the Maha Kumbh Mela takes place once in every twelve years

TRIP ITINERARY 

DAY 01 : VARANASI (KASHI)

Representative of Sky Route Travel will pick you up from the Varanasi airport to the pre-booked hotel at Varanasi City. After check-in formalities in the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, we will take you to the bank of the river Ganga for boat ride and see the 88 Ghats, most of the ghats are using for the purpose of bathing and Puja ceremony, while two important ghats Manikarnika and Harishchandra are used exclusively as cremation sites. At about 6:30 pm, our boat will be anchored in front of the Dashashwamedh Gath, one of the holiest of all ghats in Varanasi from where you can witness the famous Ganga Aarti and see the beautiful view of thousands of floating Diyas (lamps) on the river. At about 8 pm, we will take you back to hotel for the overnight stay.

DAY 02 | VARANASI-PRAYAGRAJ : 120 KM 2 HRS

Today, we will take you to Prayagraj, a famous worldwide for the Kumbh Mela, a holy religious gathering of Hindu pilgrims. Enroute, a short stopover in Sitamarhi – it is a place where Devi Sita is believed to reside after her exile from Ayodhya. We will also visit the Valmiki Ashram where Sita gave birth to her brave sons Lav and Kush. On reaching Prayagraj, we will take you to the Triveni Sangam – the confluence of the Ganga, the Yamua and the mythical Sarasvati Rivers for holy bath which helps wash away all sins of an individual. After holy dip in the river Ganga, we will take you on city tour and visit Hanuman Temple, Sawraj Bhawan/Anand Bhawan- birth place of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Evening, drive back to Varanasi and overnight stay.

DAY 03 VARANASI

Today morning, after taking holy dip in the river Ganga visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple – one of the most important twelve Jyotirlinga of Shiva, Annapurana Temple and Vishalakshi Temple – one of the Shaktipeeth temple. Afternoon visit to Saranath, 12 km away from the holy city of Varanasi and it is famous as the site where Gautama Buddha preached his first sermon. Evening, we will take you to the Banarasi Silk Saree market as the Banarasi Silk Saree is extremely popular all over India and across the world. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

DAY 04 VARANASI – DEPARTURE

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and visit the famous temples in the Varanasi city; Kal Bhairav temple, Durga Temple, New Kashi Viswanth temple in the Campus of Bananas Hindu University (BHU) and Kaudi Mata temple. Afternoon drive back to Airport or Railway station.
