The Lord Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala (Tirupati) is one of the most famous temples in India. More than 35 million pilgrims visiting the temple every year, it is one of the most visited holy places and also one of the richest temples in the world. According to a legend, Lord Vishna assumed the form of Sri Venkateswara to save mankind from the adversities of Kali Yuga. This temple built in accordance with the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple has three entrances which lead to the sanctum sanctorum. A gold-plated tower inside the main shrine is called “Ananda Nilayam” and is the most important part of the temple. Sri Venkateswara Temples at Tirumala is really significant to the Hindus from religious point of view. Every year, the temple attracts tourists and devotees from all over the world. It is believed that the Lord Vishnu turned himself into stone in order to help mankind in the dark age, devotees often experience a state of bliss after visiting the temple.

DAY-WISE ITINERARY

Day -1 : Chennai airport – Tirupati (145 kms – 3 hrs) : Sky Route Travel representative will be available at Chennai airport to receive you. After pick up from airport, drive towards Tirupati. Check in to the pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at Tirupati.

Day -2 Tirumala-Tiruchanur-Chennai (145 km 3 hrs) After breakfast, check out from hotel and visit Tirumala Lord Venkateswara temple Darshan. After darshan, proceed to visit Shri Padmavati Ammavari temple – dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi, the consort of Lord Venkateswara. Afternoon drive to Chennai and dropped at the desired destination.
