Leh-Ladakh is the highest livable region located in the northern part of Jammu and Kashmir. Le is an adventure and spiritual destination which is attracting tourists with charming Buddhism culture, interesting natural beauties, mountain passes and adventure activities. The magnetic hill is a hill that pulls you upwards. In fact, the surrounding slopes are carved out in such a way that it creates an illusion of an uphill road. It is located on the smoothly constructed Srinagar-Leh highway. You can also visit river Indus and Zanskar confluence, war museum maintained by the Indian army. You can visit the world’s highest located salt water lake of Pangon which is shared the international border between India and China. This lake changes its color based on the position of the sun. In the morning, the lake will be azure blue and it becomes green in the afternoon and red by the evening. The world’s top three motorable mountain pass are located in Ladakh. The highest of all is Khardung La Pass at the height of 5359 meter above sea level. Every adventure lover who visits Leh-Ladakh makes sure to try a mountain bike ride along this route. The village of Hudner situated like an Oasis amidst the cold desert of the Nubra valley. The gorgeous silver sand dunes are located at the altitude of 4000 meter and are bounded by snow-capped mountains

DAY-WISE ITINERARY

 Day 1: Arrival in Leh 3500 meters / 11560 feet & Local Sightseeing

 On arrival at Leh airport, you will be me by representative of Sky Route Travel. Our representative will escort you to the pre-booked hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization and rest as Leh is at an altitude of 3500 metres above the seal level. Evening visit to Shanti Stupta – an important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists and the towering stupa is made of marble, Leh Palace – it is a great example of medieval Tibetan architecture and the roof offers amazing views of the Ladakh region. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2 : Le – Sham Valley (Magnetic Hill, Sangam): After breakfast, drive to Hall of Fame – A war museum dedicated to the brave martyrs of Indian Army, Mata Kali Temple, Gurudwar Patha Shahib, Magnetic Hill – at this majestic point, vehicle appear to be moving uphill when let free or naturalized, Sangam of river Zanskar and Indus. Evening return to Hotel and overnight stay in Leh.

 Day 3 : Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass – Hunder (120 km / 4-5 hrs journey)

 After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft). Visit to Diskit Monastery after drive to Hunder. On your arrival in Hunder check in the camp. After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Hunder.

Day 04 : Hunder – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok ( Approx- 5 hrs)  Early Morning after breakfast drive to next destination Pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik (Pangong). It’s a short cut and it’s a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at pangong lake – this lake is the highest salt-water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Lateron you can take a walk along the scenic turquoise colored Lake and enjoy its beauty. Overnight stay in Camp

 Day 05 : Pangong – Leh back via Changla Pass (Approx 6 Hrs)  After breakfast check out hotel and drive back Leh enroute across Chang-la-Pass – the third highest motorable road in the world . Upon reaching Karu, visit to Shey Monastery, Thiksay Monastery, Druk white Lotus school – a famous tourist spot, the school came in the limelight after shooting of Bollywood super hit film “Three Idiots” was held here in September 2008 and evening back to Hotel at Leh and overnight stay.

Day 06 : LEH : After Breakfast check out Hotel and transfer to the Leh Airport.
