Leh-Ladakh is the highest livable region located in the northern part of Jammu and Kashmir. Le is an adventure and spiritual destination which is attracting tourists with charming Buddhism culture, interesting natural beauties, mountain passes and adventure activities. The magnetic hill is a hill that pulls you upwards. In fact, the surrounding slopes are carved out in such a way that it creates an illusion of an uphill road. It is located on the smoothly constructed Srinagar-Leh highway. You can also visit river Indus and Zanskar confluence, war museum maintained by the Indian army. You can visit the world’s highest located salt water lake of Pangon which is shared the international border between India and China. This lake changes its color based on the position of the sun. In the morning, the lake will be azure blue and it becomes green in the afternoon and red by the evening. The world’s top three motorable mountain pass are located in Ladakh. The highest of all is Khardung La Pass at the height of 5359 meter above sea level. Every adventure lover who visits Leh-Ladakh makes sure to try a mountain bike ride along this route.

DAY-WISE ITINERARY

 Day 1: Arrival in Leh 3500 meters / 11560 feet & Local Sightseeing : Arrival at Leh, half day rest for acclimatization. Afternoon visit Leh palace- Palace of the erstwhile Royal King of Ladakh, Tsemo castle and Shanti Stupa which offers you a panoramic view of entire Leh town, Indus valley and lofty mountain of Zansker & Ladakh range . Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 2: Indus valley local Sightseeing : Full day local sightseeing to Indus valley including Shey Palace- the former Palace of the Namgyal king of Ladakh, Thiksey monastery-an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, resembling Potala Palace of Tibet and Hemis monastery which is one of the richest and largest monastery of Ladakh andhave a huge collection of Artifacts, Paintings etc at their museum and enroute visit Druk white Lotus school – a famous tourist spot, the school came in the limelight after shooting of Bollywood super hit film “Three Idiots” was held here in September 2008. Day 3: Day trip to Pangong Lake (160 km 5 hour one way) : After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, which is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong, is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Upon arrival, visit the location of “Three Idiots” also known as shooting point. Lateron you can take a walk along the scenic turquoise colored Lake and enjoy its beauty and after spending sometime return to Leh. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 4: Khardungla pass & Sham valley : After breakfast drive to Khardungla- world’s highest motorable road at 18,830 ft above sea level, enjoy cup of soup/coffee at World’s Highest Motorable pass, enjoy the picturesque view of snowcapped mountain and enroute visit visit Sham Valley including Indian Army Hall of Fame-A war museum dedicated to the brave martyrs of Indian Army, Magnetic Hills – at this majestic point, vehicle appear to be moving uphill when let free or naturalized, Confluence of Zanskar& Indus river and Gurudwara Pather Sahib . Evening Free for leisure and shopping at bustling Leh market. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 5: After breakfast, check out from Hotel and dropping at airport
